Okay, so it is Saturday afternoon and I was reading the most recent edition of the Marysville Heritage Journal September 2014, Volume 6, purchased at the Marysville Irving. I found all the articles interesting and very informative and some were downright funny...especially the remember this section. Decided to celebrate a little with my own memories of living on Young St. when I was 4 yrs. old and my sister Philene Mcgee was 6. I broke open a can of sardines and spread them all over my GF (Leah Bryden ...lol) crackers with lots of mustard. I know right at that moment my father was smiling down from Heaven, honoured that I thought of him as I indulged in this little treat. Would have preferred chocolate, but oh well! I know my colleagues Natalie Kate MacLaggan & Dave Douglas will be anxious for me to return to work so that I can bring sardines for lunch and spread the beautiful aroma of canned sardines all over the second floor. Lol!!! : )))
