Okay so last night I dreamed the plot to Dumpsters Children. Dumpster is a beautiful black woman with burns down the entire one side of her face and body. Nevertheless, her non-burned side is extremely beautiful. Her nickname was given to her by her abusive partner who is responsible for her burns and who she is on the run from with her two children. She is blind in one eye and the other eye had poor vision. They are in a car and it is clear she and her children have a great, loving relationship despite the abuse they have suffered. She accidentally drives into a lake with her children in the car. She manages to save herself and her two children and as they come to the shore, several residents of the town they had been driving through and who had been participating in recreational activities at the lake run over to make sure they are okay. The residents are kind at first and they feed Dumpster and her children and comfort them. As they listen to Dumpsters story of abuse and fleeing her abuser, they become inexplicably and increasingly angry towards Dumpster and her children until they become violent. Dumpster and her children panic and steal some nearby bicycles as the angry residents chase after them. Eventually, the residents catch up to the children who are then essentially engulfed by the violent crowd. Dumpster looks back in terror but realizes she can do nothing about it and must try to save herself. She pedals on as quickly as she can but falls into a ditch and cuts her leg badly on something. Right before the residents descend, she manages to pull herself and the bicycle out of the ditch and rides away again, sustaining a deep gash on her non-burned leg. She manages to escape when she gets to a rural area and goes down a narrow forest path, hides the bicycle in some foliage, and runs into the woods. After awhile, she completely loses the residents and stands, naked and smiling in a small, shady, sun dappled clearing. It was VERY Nights of Cabiria but there you go, folks, Dumpsters Children.
