Okay, so life has gotten in the way... But the Mee Heng Low cookbook is not dead. Unfortunately it will not be ready before this Christmas. However, I am confident that it will get done first quarter of 2015. My family is getting together at Thanksgiving and Christmas so it will be a priority during those times to get it done. It will be nice having some help plus I have a niece and nephew who are expert photographers who can help with the food shots. As I mentioned before, all proceeds will go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. It will feature 20-25 classic MHL recipes as well as photos from back in the day, some history, and stories from the family. It will be full color, professionally printed. Also, on the original post about the cookbook here in this group, I plan on using several of the quotes there. I will reach out to those who Id like to include in the cookbook for your permission. Sorry I was not able to get it done sooner - I know many of you expressed interest in it as a Christmas gift. In the meantime, here is a shot of the format. And that egg foo yung photo will be updated... ;)
