Okay so my evening was extremely, extremely, extremely stressful. My daughter is supposed to get off the bus at 515 from her after school program but since there is a lot of traffic given the construction around my area, I wasnt surprised when 30 minutes had passed and she wasnt home. So I called at 5:55pm, but of course the school with closed. .. So I thought to call the County bus Transportation Office and someone actually answered the phone. As I started to explain, she said let me guess youre looking for student and she gave my daughters name. She said the bus was stuck in traffic and they should be to me in about 10 minutes well after 30 minutes passed, I received another call saying that as the bus was turning into our subdivision, a truck rear ended them and the police were on their way. Thank goodness my daughter is fine. Unfortunately though it was a hit and run so there is a police case. Im so surprised that I did not just burst out in tears from all the stress. Thank you Latoya Patterson Council for putting on a dance show for me to keep me from totally losing my mind.... And even though I barely participated, it helped, and I appreciate you. Love you girl.
