Okay, so, my lovely wife decided to give me the #15, yaay! So the idea is that I need to share 15 things that most people probably don’t know about me. And heeeeere we go! Let’s kick this pig! 1. My most-favoritest movie of all time is “Willow”. Seriously. I quote that movie at least once pretty much every day of my life. Not to mention the fact that I honestly wanted to name my son Mad Martigan. 2. I met the love of my life, my beautiful wife, on World of Warcraft. We lived over 2000km apart, but in the time span of 1 year she came to see me and I came back to Canada with her and now we’ve got our super amazing son, Jaden, and another bundle of joy on the way! 3. I changed my college major 4 times before I actually finished a degree! First I was Pre-law, then Pre-nursing, then History, and finally, the winner was Computer Programming!! Took me a while to figure out I was a nerd, huh? 4. I have a very odd addiction to trying out weird facebook games that I run across, but I refuse to spend any money on them. 5. Bananas make me throw up. But only when I have them in the morning. 6. Ladders are terrifying, at least when I’m coming back down them. 7. After meeting my amazing wife, Nikki, I have been obsessed with the idea of becoming a do-it-myself kinda man – I’ve been learning construction, carpentry, automotive mechanics, and 4 different programming languages. Oh yeah, and I’m planning to get my Class 1 Commercial driving license. Figure it can’t hurt, right? 8. I used to play drums, guitar, and write songs. Still want to, but I need to buy some new instruments and don’t want to take money out of our kiddo funds just to pay for a hobby of mine. 9. I’m a bajillion times more terrified of bees and wasps than I am of spiders, snakes, moose, or bears. Though bears might make me pee myself just a wee bit if I run across them on a hike or something. Otherwise… they’re just, ya know… OOOO FLUFFY!!!! 10. My one past-time that I refuse to change after getting married and having children is that I love to read… a LOT. I tone it down a lot because I enjoy spending time with the munchkin and the wifey more, but when I’ve got some alone time… I am alllllll over a new book, or an old one that I’ve already read 10 times and just want to read some more. 11. I never used to be a neat freak. However, since my son likes to eat anything edible or non-edible that crosses his path… I continuously find myself combing the carpet and crawling around the kitchen floor looking for misplaced food or drink paraphernalia. 12. I take pride in knowing how to spell and say big words… like paraphernalia. Or antidisestablishmentarianism 13. Mmmmmm coffee….. but only in the morning! And only with either awesome irish crème creamer or loads and loads of sugar. 14. I’m just as crazy about music as my beautiful wife is, and the strangest (yet incredibly fortunate) part of this equation is that we somehow love the EXACT SAME MUSIC… other than the Backstreet Boys. Or Lady Gaga. Though our adorable little boy seems to enjoy a little Gaga on the side… and since his dancing is cute as hell… I’ll put up with whatever the hell he enjoys =) 15. Last, but not least, I’m an avid Brad Pitt fan. As a matter of fact, many friends of mine back in high school, I distinctly recall, got Brad Pitt Valentines cards… I actually still think I have mine somewhere…
