Okay, so not all that long ago I realized that cat calling being anything from asking a female stranger to smile to whistling and compliments, is wrong. I used to think it was innocent compliments and the like. That said, I never had the confidence to actually voice this intention but the thing that sends these compliments astray is the fact that the female youre interacting with, doesnt know you... She has no reason to feel secure about your engaging her. Youre not the only one either. You arent going to brighten her day when youre the 7th stranger to try it because every one of you is a potential threat to her. She gets this all the time and every time I doubt she wants to humor it again. Yes, maybe she doesnt find you threatening. Shes still sick of it. My lesson from this... Youre not going to meet her today. But if you really want to meet another girl, meet her through the people you know, so she can at least gauge how creepy you are.
