Okay so not trying to offend anyone but I am pretty offended so heres my rant for the day. You may want to stop reading now if you are easily offended by the topic of religion. Lets start with this backstory;All holidays that are Christian basically were created from pagan holidays by Constantine. This is a fact you can look it up. Pagans were not devil worshipers. They believed in different gods they did not believe in the Christian God, they didnt know Jesus, they didnt even know about the devil. They were not evil. They were just people. Constantine in an effort to bring them to Christianity created Holidays merged with their times of festival. Halloween was a time of festival to celebrate the spirits that had passed. Believe me or not I have done my research. Lol Ok so here I go. How about lets not teach our children that Halloween is about evil. It is not, some occult followers over time have used this time to celebrate their own darkness this is true; pagan and occult are two very different things. If my kids wanna dress up in fun costumes and go collect some goodies on halloween I would prefer if someone elses child didnt tell them that they are worshiping satan, and especially if halloween falls on the Sabbath, cause thats not keeping it holy!Come on people get real. Guess you better not celebrate Christmas, it might fall on the Sabbath as well and oh gosh we all know that Christmas is derived from a pagan festival as well! Thank goodness Easter is always on Sunday oh wait its pagan based too! I dont recall giant egg laying bunnies or a bearded fat man giving out presents with magic flying reindeer in the bible...These holidays are what man has made them to be. My family celebrates Christmas, Easter, we celebrate the birth and resurrection of Christ on those days. And yep me the hubby and the kiddos all dress up and go get free candy on Oct 31, not to celebrate anything except , well, FREE CANDY and dress up fun! In my opinion satan only has the power you give him. So Im not worried about evil spirits or ghouls trying to get at us cause they have no place in our lives. Teach your kids the truth, not bogus b.s. And teach them to keep their horrid comments to themselves, quite frankly the above mentioned is just bad manners and rude! Yep I said it.
