Okay, so now the dust has settled as to who has actually been arrested, re: the cocaine saga. Sadly most people are shouting and screaming because supposedly a particular political party is being fingered. For me and from what I know, this is only the tip of the iceberg. Many of you know that loads of videos and pictures are in circulation. Yes I can confirm, I have seen them and received a lot of information from numerous contacts of mine. Sadly the supposed links of this lady Ruby cut across the political, traditional, musical celebrity and the social divide of Ghana. In my view this whole saga has opened a can of worms we have no choice than to deal with. Allegedly the lady a while back was jailed in Holland for similar indiscretions. At that time a different political party was in power and she probably got throw our airports without any issues. Most are wondering how 12.5Kg of cocaine got through our airport without remembering that its even more worrying that that same amount got into Ghana undetected in the first place. How much more of this illicit drug remains with other accomplices to this sordid action we dont know and this is worrying. Like the British authorities said its strange that such an amount of contraband goods got through an airport without notice. This is a view the NACOB have tried to explain away by using the caveat of collaboration. Truly we need to cut politics out of these crimes and deal with the menace. How we manage to do that, I dont know.
