Okay, so today I walk into the work-out place behind the tanning salon in Vancleave to do some treadmill and a guy is on it so I sit and start to do some arm machines. I start to put in my earbuds and he says go ahead and turn off the house stereo system, that he was through, and I said something about having all of the Beatles songs on my MP3 player and that Im listening to the Beatles Anthology in the car and he said he used to have a record store and had the Anthology on vinyl. We talked for a while and he mentioned that his 9-year-old son loves the Beatles and plays some guitar, and in fact, once played with Cheap Trick. Really? 9-year-old? So I checked out Six String Andrew on Youtube. Apparently his son has a following in the coastal music scene and on Youtube. I gave the father a couple of my CDs with some originals and covers and Im actually concerned about what his 9-year-old kid thinks, especially after viewing the following video. youtu.be/vLbT9TUauLY A few years back I had a dream -- a real dream, like when I was asleep -- that I was in an audience of about 50 people when the Beatles were playing and Paul said, Hey, Fender, come on oop an play a few songs with us. I got up and was on my way to the stage when I noticed I didnt have any pants on. Just underwear. I immediately woke up and sure enough, I just had my underwear on. Im glad some peoples dreams are more based in reality than mine.
