Okay, so we have it narrowed down to 3 houses. One is a 2 bed/1bath rental with a 1 car garage and a beautiful big back yard in San Gabriel, one is a 3 bed/1 bath with a 2 car garage and a nice, not quite as big back yard for $380k in El Monte, and the 3rd is a 2bed/1bath with a gorgeaous front yard and a hugh private parking lot out back with a mobile home on it (we think it is 1 bed/1bath but havent found out yet) for $360k in El Sereno. The distance to work is 10 miles versus 12 miles versus 3 miles... decisions, decisions, decisions. Of course, it would help if our home sale closed so that wehad the money to move on one of the properties before someone beats us to it...
