Okay, so yesterday I finished up my latest decorative bowl - the one that I had my fingers crossed for while it was curing. Im fairly pleased with the way it turned out, although since Im so close to it, I cant tell if it looks plasticky. This piece measures 12.5 inches across (31 cm) and almost 3 deep at the highest point. There are 18 TLC petals in it that are perpendicular to the bowl shell, so overhead, they create simple lines, but from a side angle, it explodes with color in purple and red and catches the light. Also, Im looking for a source for those wrought iron/metal rings that have 3-4 short feet attached that the bowls can sit in for display purposes while keeping them slightly elevated from the table top. If anyone knows where I could find these, for a reasonable price, Id really appreciate the info.
