Okay…thanks to Lindsey Neely, here are 7 random facts about me that some of you may not know: 1. I gave birth to two children but only one is still with us. The other one I will bond with in heaven. 2. My son, Justin Parker has dual citizenship because he was born in Panama. He may or may not have renounced his Panamanian citizenship, but none of us are really sure (including him). 3. Even though I am divorced after 20 years, I am still in love with my in laws, Diane Weatherford and James Weatherford. That will never change and they will never be my ex in laws because I will always be their baby girl! 4. I am a giant oxymoron because I am a Jewish believer in Christ. Dont say Im not a Jew anymore though, because no one gets to take that from me. I have the full circle now and thats AWESOME! 5. I am getting ready to return to Afghanistan….AGAIN, for so many reasons. It is too hard to explain to most people and Im just super grateful to the other crazy people who deploy along with me. Im grateful that they understand and Im grateful to work along side of them. They are my family when Im there and I love them for it! The truth is that when the military deploy the public is often grateful and sympathetic. When we deploy people usually think we are greedy or running away from life. Most dont understand that we serve along side the military and are blessed to do so! 6. The best day of my life was spent swimming in the Dead Sea with my son, Justin. He gets mad at me for saying that because he says the best day should have been when he was born. But who are we kidding, that was painful and no we dont forget that pain! 7. I was bombed while swimming in the pool of the American Embassy in Iraq with my friend, Joseph Alford. I think that Joseph can agree that the adrenaline rush helped to burn a few extra calories!
