Okay...that did it! Some black folks have COMPLETELY LOST THEIR FREAKING MINDS. You mean to tell me...that another person of African descent...isnt BLACK ENOUGH to play ANOTHER person of African descent in a movie?!! So we all agree that white folks in black-face is wrong. But now even BLACK PEOPLE cant play other BLACK PEOPLE unless were the EXACT same skin shade and have the EXACT same noses?! All the black women attacking Zoe Saldana are victims to slave mentality and they are operating in a spirit of Error & Jealousy. They should be ASHAMED of themselves!!! Black people (including black Africans, black Latins, black Indians, etc...) can play other black people. I dont give a damn WHAT YOU THINK on it. Nicole Kidman put on a fake nose and make-up to play Virginia Wolfe and white America didnt cry out to the mountains! So why are some black folks so STUPID as to do that now that Zoe is doing the same to play Nina?! Slave mentality lives! Colonized mentality still exists people, and these black folks who think like this need to read a book, get educated and stop thinking you can tell filmmakers how to make our movies. Im GLAD Zoe is playing Nina Simone and I WILL BE THERE OPENING NIGHT with my paid ticket to support her. Black women can TRULY be messed up sometimes. The hate and the jealousy is shameful.
