Okay that is the dust settled so where to begin. The feedback from our 3rd ever Les-Fest has been phenomenal. I think almost everyone agrees that the new location is great, the facilities so much better and the room to expand and grow gives us great potential. What people dont see is that the whole event takes a full week to set up and take down and that is just for the small festival that we currently have. This event takes a huge toll and my two brothers who were still working up until Wednesday and my great and very supportive wife Isabel, who has to put up with my stresses, strains and tantrums are barely just recovering. I will not name check too many people on here as there are so many of you, but for those volunteers that came along, worked tirelessly for no reward and did so without a moan or a groan all I can do is thank you from the bottom of my heart. Ross, Dougie, Jan - absolute stars, Rebecca and Fiona you may not have learned much, but appreciate you being there, Roderick for the awesome job Andy for doing all the jobs nobody else was around to do. Colin, Gordon, Sarah for all the hard work, Iain for the suport and so, so many more. Please dont be insulted if you are not listed, these are just a few of the people that mean so much to me personally. Moving forward, I need to look at how we staff the event and of course fund the event and I am looking into crowd funding options today. Rest assured we will be back in 2015 and already have some ideas on who we will have playing the event. The planning for something like this does literally start happening a few days after the last one and much as that will scare the life out my family, the show must go on. Catch up over the weekend :)
