Okay, the family update: Hubby made it home safe and sound, then picked son up early from school so were all safe thank goodness. News isnt so good for one of my daughters: shes been stuck in traffic on I-285 for many hours (around 10 hrs, I think)... to the point that shes trying to get off and find a Waffle House or some place to spend the night. Still worried about her (on top of that, her cell phone died 2 hrs into the drive). Along with that, my husbands uncle passed away last night... and given the weather and road conditions, we dont know if well be able to make it to the funeral (and my husband is supposed to be a pall bearer). :( Weve had various friends whos thankfully made it home safe in all this snowy, icy mess... now if we can just get the Meglet to a safe, warm, dry place for the night....
