Okay, there are conflicting theories about whether the domestic can can see color (or more accurately, distinguish between colors as compared to values of colors). I wish to present for discussion the curious case of one young Mr. Grey Paulk. We have dozens if not hundreds of cat toys strewn around this house: bouncy balls, jingle balls, sparkle balls (yes, the Catz have a lot of balls). Stuffed mice and chipmunks and Dubya. Wands and feathers and lasers. But Grey seems to be able to distinguish the bright lime/kelly green items from others. He is collecting a stash of green toys under the bed. There is a mouse, a squishy ball, a jingle ball without its jingler, a plastic corkscrew thing, and a worm.
