Okay, this turned out alot longer than I thought and not sure what made me do this but this actually surprised me. I calculated that in about 2 to 2.5 years: COPR has pulled roughly 30 dogs from CAC. About 25 of my fosters were CAC dogs that COPR pulled. I have fostered about 40 dogs for COPR total. Overall, I have fostered around 50 dogs and one cat. (I dont think I ever realized how many dogs have come through my home before passing or finding forever homes so this was the surprising part to me) Then if I look I fostered, 2 County Dogs (one was foster fail and really I consider as a CAC dog), 2 Lakewood Dogs, 1 Lake Humane Dog, and the rest were California, Chicago and dogs from other places. Calculated that based on the ones I fostered as little as one week and then to a few months, to a year and a few permanent fosters. And of course there are some failures in there. I can always add my buddy Buzz that spent a few weeks here too which means there are a little over 50 because I am sure I am missing someone in my count. I also know there are others that have done way more than me and to them, you deserve a reward. After looking at this, I want to thank MY DOGS, for putting up with the craziness, having time taken from them, tolerating newbies, sharing (well some :) ) and hanging in there on this roller coaster. And of course I thank COPR, my director Kim Ray (
