Okay, time for a shameless plug. Although Michelle has heard a bunch of my originals and studio work, she has never seen me perform and she loves to dance. So, since I dont dance (and no telling secrets Brandy, Cindy & Linda ;-) ), that leaves me considering the first issue. Notwithstanding all of the wonderful requests Ive had from so many others.....and thank you for your loving requests.....Its time for me to get back on stage! I have to admit that I have missed performing. Being on stage with a group of people you really like, making good music (and in my case, jumping around like an idiot with bees in my crotch), is a feeling that is beyond description. I-D-E-A-L-L-Y it would be awesome to just walk into a band that is already established or near ready to gig, but Im not opposed to starting at ground zero with the right group of misfits either. :-D Im very fortunate to have good friends who have invited me to perform a song or two on stage with them, not the least of which is Marty & Random Pressure and Mike & the Mike Branch Band (HUGE HUGS, YA LOVEBUGS!), and those are always greatly appreciated offers. I realize I might be facing an outmoded image problem to some musicians......I know I used to be called Little Hitler back in the day (behind my back)......and thats okay, but I left that guy (and my hair) behind me many years ago; and you can ask Kurt Bevers, Dave Miles, Steve Shroy, Mike Criss, Marty or Mike, Charlie Swift, Pete Peterson, Mark (Larue) Todd, or the dozens of other musicians Ive worked with over the last 30 (did I just say THIRTY?) years. :-) Wish me luck yall.
