Okay, we are having listening lessons tonight. The kind where you have to realize that WAITING until a person is through with a sentence or trying to teach you something is respectful. The phone call from the teacher was about Rowan and his propensity for interrupting and disrupting his class with silliness, and not getting his work finished in school ( thereby having homework) because he is the class clown. So....Rowan is spending the evening doing ALL of this weeks "work" and writing a short note to his teacher, stating he will try harder to be quiet, and save the noise for recess. No kid movies for a week. Books only. No computer time for a month, until I hear from teacher that lesson has "taken". Yeah, i know,I am a meanie, but best to handle this while the child is short.
