Okay, weve had enough excitement at the Rainier house for one day. Im sitting at my desk minding my own business, sent my son out to check the mail, and guess what! He screams, Snake! A snake. In my house. INSIDE my house. And Eli? What was Eli doing? Napping the whole time. He looked up once like, Yall are disturbing my beauty rest with all that screaming, ya know. We let Darby in and he zeroed in on the snake right quick, caught it in his mouth, and looked up at me like Would you please open the back door? and then took it outside and dealt with it. Im so glad we have at least one good snake dog, otherwise Id be reporting from on top of the dining room table. *shudder*
