Okay you shower of argumentative little gits..some people have inboxed me to say I should not be glorifying war..how right you are.. Peace perfect Peace was a phrase my Mum often used.. and she should know having lived through both world wars...We did not have to go to war.. we did it to protect ourselves, France and Belgium. We had the largest naval army. We had signed a secret treaty saying we would fight if they were invaded and fight we did. I simply wanted to remember those who had fallen and to remember all those families who starved here in the UK (including my Mum). There were huge losses on both sides and I would hate to see us ever go to war again. Those who forget history are condemned to repeat it?
