Okey kokey! So where have I been? Well the first picture is Snow Whites sandcastle and if you cant spot Dopey, dont worry hes the one that is taking the photo. The second is my book that has met some right tropical tasty flavours. And the third is - well, The Encyclopedia Man emerging from the sea. (Eat your heart out Daniel James Bond Craig.) Myself and my fiancee Juliette, stayed on the island of Fuerteventura in the Canary islands off the North coast of Africa, doing a micro promotional tour for my book. The islands name translated from Spanish means strong wind, and after the indian curry I had on the first night I realised why. We stayed in a lovely place on the island called Corralejo where the all year round temperatures are in the mid to high 20s. Occasionally they rise into the 30s when the wind blows in across the ocean from the Sahara desert leaving buildings and cars covered in the white powdery sand.
