Oklahomas botched execution is pushing the issue of capital punishment back into the international spotlight: on.kmbc/1hSTMfi Authorities say convicted murderer and rapist Clayton Lockett lived for 43 minutes after the first drug in a three-drug system was administered. Lockett managed to say Man, Im not, and somethings wrong, to a crowd of witnesses before authorities closed the blinds to onlookers. A second execution scheduled for the same night was halted.
