Old Coat Got cold real quick and realized I didnt have my warm coat with me. So I dug through my always be prepared bag and drug out a jacket I hadnt worn since last winter. In one pocket was a Cross pen clipped onto a little pocket-size notebook full of blank pages. In the other pocket was a wad of napkins with lines and couplets and half verses written in purple crayon. I thought to myself that maybe I ought to make all them napkins into a song. So I did. Then I looked at that song and I looked at them napkins and there wasnt anything on them napkins that ended up in that song. Theres still a song on them napkins but right now Im gonna listen to some Townes.
