Old Mr. North Wind is howling through the trees in the dead of night. He sends chilling winds against the sides of my little old Mobile Home by the Sea. Talked to my dear neighbor Louise and while her water froze, she has a plumber coming tomorrow. Otherwise, she is doing fine. My neighbor, Doug and his wife, Pat, are doing fine. The cold hit this region so suddenly last night, we had several neighbors whose pipes froze up. I did get out for my daily coffee with my friend, Allen, today. We met a man named Dave Kelley, who coached with Carm Cozza at Yale for years. Dave was the line coach. He shared the most fascinating story of the experience he and Coach Cozza had in Ireland when they introduced American football to teams in North and Southern Ireland in the early 70s. Great guy!
