Old man winter just will not give up. We have below zero temperatures here today and the creeks are freezing back up. Steelhead fishing in the open water is again on hold till we get a substantial warm up. The ten day weather forecast is not calling for any warm weather so it is going to be a while. Anglers are catching a few steelies through the ice at the mouths. The ice fishing in the bay is still going strong with good ice. The fishing has been on the slow side though. We have been seeing some crappies come from the stink hole area and a few nice perch off chestnut and line yourself up with the main shipping channel.
