Oli, you are the last person I would expect to jump on the Rooney - TopicsExpress

Oli, you are the last person I would expect to jump on the Rooney to Chelsea bandwagon; one that smacks of desperation. We all know about the Mirror`s antipathy towards Manchester United. They hate the fact that they deposed Liverpool and consigned them to a life of mid-table mediocrity. Having lost all hope that they will ever challenge United, it remains for the financial dopers like Citeh and Chelski to take the baton. However, even with their billions spent, they still cannot depose United. Anachronistic hacks pray that United will slip up under Moyes, but in their hearts, they know that Sir Alex has laid foundations and brought in young players who will be at the club for the next ten years, so that will not work either. Now it seems that our illustrious and laughingly labelled `impartial` media have launched a campaign to unsettle Rooney in the vain hope that if he leaves and goes to Chelski it will somehow destroy United`s title chances. As you obviously do not research anything before writing, let me offer you some help. I do research my articles which I write for US sports papers. I have reliable sources at United; actual players, though not first-teamers. Rooney does not want to leave, end of. He was disappointed with the comments from Sir Alex at the end of last season because he does not want fans to think he is manoeuvring for a move. United would sell to anybody but Chelski or Arsenal. He will NEVER play for them, so forget the demeaning claptrap and stick to what you are best at; trying to portray Liverpool`s demise as some sort of new beginning when we all know they had their time and blew it, never improving their ground, marketing nor their financial management. Rooney will negotiate a new deal and will stay at Old Trafford, winning more titles and trophies, much to the disdain of our `nonpartisan` media.
