Olio We have lakefront property owners, ie wealthy, here who seem genuinely surprised that shallow lake coves receive sediment deposition, have aquatic vegetation and get even shallower during times when the water level gets drawn down. Many of them want the state to dredge so they may enjoy unimpeded use of their power boats. I am sure that many of them also rail against welfare. Adam and I floated the North Branch yesterday with Harold. Adam and I floated. Harold did a lot of tugging and pushing to get us off rocks as the flow was barely adequate to get down the river. In spite of bright sunny conditions we managed to catch some beautiful rainbows. Fun day. It was a loud night here on the Appalachian Plateau. And bright at times.
