Olivia came to this world when our world seemed to be falling apart, just a month after Alex was diagnosed. At the time I didnt know how we were going to do it, take care of a newborn and a boy that needed his mom more than ever. Little did I know she was sent to our family to give us happiness and peace. From the day Livy was born she and Alex had a very special bond. Liv started smiling at 1 week old but only at Alex. There was a time when Livy was very fussy and Alex said that he wanted to hold her. Thinking I could handle her fussiness easier I said that he should wait a little bit until she was feeling happier. He said no just let me see her. So I passed her off to him and she immediately stop crying and just stared up into his eyes, smiling. She sure loves her brother and he just loved and adored her. Alex lived until Liv was 4 months old. The first picture is our family picture just a couple weeks before Livy was born. I hate that we will never have a complete family picture. Since Alex has passed, Livy has been a great reminder that Alex is not far from us. I am so grateful for Olivia she has been a complete joy to our whole family.
