Om Amriteshwaryai Namah! Amma has HER California Safe Food Handler Card: Do You Have Yours? Indeed, Amma is coming to SoCal in about 2 weeks. State and County regulations require that EVERY VOLUNTEER handling food at Amma’s SoCal program must have a valid California State food handlers permit. This includes chopping veggies in the Kitchen, serving meals, serving in the Snack Shop, and serving during Amma’s Dinner during the Retreat. Getting the card is easy: 1. Take an online test and pay with a credit or debit card. 2. Once you pass the test, you will be emailed a certificate to print out. KEEP THIS PRINT OUT WITH YOU AND BRING IT TO PROGRAM. You will need the hard copy. Keep the email so it’s in your smartphone. 3. Email the copy of your card to socaltourla@gmail 4.
