Omar Barghouti is a leading Palestinian civil rights activist who has been principally involved with BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanction)--a non-violent act of civil disobedience against Israeli occupation of Palestine--this is a short video in which he explains BDS--I see these days that Zionists of various shades are spreading a piece of Hasbara propaganda in which they wish to discourage you from boycotting Israel and argue that we will never succeed in BDS because Israeli products are so widespread and so integral to our lives that this is a futile endeavor. It is not. If this were a futile endeavor then why Israeli propagandists are so adamant proving it does not work and try to discourage people? If this were a futile endeavor, then why Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu considers it a national security threat to the Jewish apartheid state? If this were a futile endeavor then why are such leading American Zionists as Alan Dershowitz so incensed and angered by it? BDS is the civilized peoples response to a barbaric state. It is a non-violent act of civil disobedience done quietly and gracefully, just as people did during the apartheid South Africa. If indeed an Israeli company has built a chip that is right now working in my laptop as I write this note, I could not care any less. I use it to write about BDS!
