Omg! A blast from the past lol. I was looking through some boxes and found this old thing. This is the very first saber my brother and i built some 12 years ago for a fan film we were hoping to make. In 6 months we built 4 sabers and trained 8 people in sword fighting in hopes of making it look half decent lol Machined from a solid 30 mm aluminium rod then painted with mat sprey paint with a cricket bat grip used for the body......at the time we were pretty impressed......looking at how far our designs have come not so much now lol but we all have to start from somewhere 😊
