Omg, I have to tell yall about my day! I purchased a pin button that says BIRTHDAY PRINCESS on it, being that my birthday is next Thursday. These sisters came in today, my first few customers, and before I started checking them out, the cashier working behind me whispered in my ear, these ladies are so mean and rude. I didnt know if I heard her right, but I said okay back to her. As I started checking out the first sister, she noticed my button and excitedly asked if it was my birthday today. I told her no that it is next week, I am just boasting for a week, which to most people is cute and acceptable. She then went off on an attitude tirade. Okay, lol, you just go on ahead and live in your delusional imagination of your birthday week. Also, those DIVA apples you have in your product, you should eat those, they would go well with your ego. I was speechless at this point with and couldnt help but laugh and hand her her receipt. (What can be said, right? The customer is always right..... bs) Next came her sister..... she was a little easier to handle, but still a socially ignorant fire cracker. She put her bags on the belt with her food. Before I started scanning her items, she told me that I need to wait because her husband was picking out a load of bread. Her husband had been standing by the bread for an hour and a half jaw jacking on the phone. He finally hung up and got the bread. By this time, I have a line that is just growing and growing! He handed me the bread and I started scanning her items. She was very specific where she wanted her things in each bag. I typed in the code for her lettuce and set it aside so I could grab her freezer bag. She yanked it off my counter and shoved it back in my hands and vigorously placed the freezer bag in front of me saying, No, dont put my lettuce on the counter, thats why I have my freezer bag so it can go in there. I dont know what you placed on this counter all day. Package it right! At this time Im secretly laughing to myself in disbelief on how rude and socially unacceptable this family is. The husband who brought the bread was the nicest one, probably because hes whipped. They finally left and in an instant I finally understood what the cashier behind me had said prior to all this. Obviously shes had them before. About an hour after that, I was taking a computer test for soy foods when the power cuts out all over the store. Transactions were temporarily stopped, my test was cancelled and had to be retaken, the front doors were open letting the cool air out and the heat in.... thankfully the power cut only lasted for like 15 seconds. Transactions had to be restarted, all things bagged had to be scanned again, my test was taken fast before it might happen again. All seemed to be well. The sweet cherry on nearing the end of my day was one of my regular customers came back in after checking out and leaving, came back and handed me a $40 gift card to CHEESECAKE FACTORY as a birthday gift! I hugged her and thanked her so! At the very end, I didnt have any chores to do after my shift and was told to go home 10 minutes early due to the lack of customers. Ive had an interesting day today! Too bad you missed it, Tamur Allen, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Britni Jones, Calypso Wolfram Brookshire, Mike Roberts! Lol
