Omg! Some complete twat of a teacher told my daughter that the A.D after a date stands for after death! What a twat? It stands for Anno Domini which is latin, Medieval Latin to be precise. In the year of our Lord. If it meant after death, then the 33 years that Jesus was on this earth would never have been counted, since BC means before Christ and AD (after death) according to some idiot teacher means after death. So the 33 years in between were limbo years were they? What a crock of shite! What do they teach them nowadays!!!!! Really pissed off to be fair, where is the standard of teaching gone? Our teachers at school were brilliant, I mean brilliant. There are things that I ask my daughter if she knows n she looks at me and says, the teachers are not that smart at our school Mum. WTF???????? I hope to God its going to get better in secondary school. It seems like basic maths and English is enough nowadays, well NO its not! I knew what this meant before I went into the Juniors! Its basic as learning the dates, after all, it is part of the date! Im not saying that all teachers are stupid or anything, just this one! Lol; but I am saying that if a child asks you something, please make sure you know the correct answer before giving a reply! Its only fair to our children. After death my arsehole! Lmao! Rant over!
