Omg! Where to start? 45 miles of coast line start and finish at lulworth cove. The first 13 mile loop was all cool 4 big hills some woodland running and great people! The second loop (14 miles) was hideous, stone beach x2 a cliff face to climb (litterally!) and then son more horrid hills. I hit the biggest wall at 24 miles feeling nausea, ankles and knees were ready to explode. Got in to base at 27 miles to take a few minutes and saw Naomi Louise Grosvenor Andy Grosvenor and Ethan. I was ready to throw in the towel but decided I would give it untill 33 miles and see how I was doing, 33 miles came quicker than I realised I met an awesome chapy called ken with 15 miles to go and ultra was his thing we ended up talking about life and what had brought us 15 miles from the end of an ultra that lap flew past, 33 miles with the ten k loop to go my legs had had it, theyre were not working for love nor money, ken and I. Said we will walk it (prize for the slowest ever 10k!! 2 hours later after many stops we did it! 45 miles of the hardest course I have ever set eyes on, completed having made a very very good friend!
