On 01/23/15 at approximately 21:07, Kennett Officers stopped a vehicle on Highway 25 here in Kennett. Both occupants of the vehicle were arrested on warrants. 38 year old Jimmy W. Ragland was arrested on an outstanding Dunklin County warrant. He later posted the bond and was released. 30 year old Tasha Ragland was arrested on a Kennett Municipal warrant. She was incarcerated in the Dunklin County Jail and later posted the bond and was released with a new Kennett Municipal Court date. At approximately 23:04, Kennett Officers arrested 46 year old Ronnie Wake of Kennett on a Kennett Municipal warrant. Wake was transported to the Kennett Police Department where he posted the $42.50 cash bond. The warrant was issued for not wearing a seat belt. Wake was released with a new Kennett Municipal Court date. At approximately 23:05, Kennett Officers attempted to make contact with a white male walking near Harrison Street and S. Main Street. The subject took off running and a foot chase ensued. After a short foot chase the suspect, 32 year old Billy J. Medley Jr. of Kennett, was arrested on two felony warrants and for resisting arrest. Medley was incarcerated in the Dunklin County Jail pending the notification of the State Prosecuting Attorneys Office. On 01/24/15 at approximately 00:38, Kennett Officers arrested 33 year old Michael J. Hill of Poplar Bluff for Driving While Intoxicated and two outstanding warrants. Hill was incarcerated in the Dunklin County Jail and will be released on a summons for the D.W.I. charge and is being held on the two warrants. At approximately 02:12, Kennett Officers arrested Keith A. Spriggs of Kennett on two outstanding warrants. Spriggs had one Dunklin County warrant and one Butler County warrant. Spriggs was incarcerated in the Dunklin County Jail with a total bond of $850.00.
