On 07/31/14 in response to several complaints in the affected neighborhoods, The Southbridge Police Department Detective Bureau executed narcotic search warrants at 46 Green Ave, 3rd floor apartment and 16 Dean Street, 2nd floor front apartment. They were assisted in the warrant executions by Detectives from the Charlton and Webster Police Departments. The targets of the warrants were Felipe Hernandez, 46 Green Ave, (DOB 09/26/80) and Joseamid Torres, 16 Dean Street, (DOB 12/09/74). As a result of the investigation crack cocaine, heroin, narcotics packaging materials, and $11, 528.00 in currency were seized. As a result of the property seized and the observations detectives made during the investigation, Torres and Hernandez are charged with Possession to Distribute a class B drug - crack cocaine, Trafficking of Heroin and Conspiracy to violate the drug laws. Both men were held at the Southbridge Police Department pending bail. The arresting officers were Detective Scott Bailey and Detective Christopher Iozzo.
