On 08/10/13 at 6:00 pm The Northern York County Regional Police were dispatched to The S.P.C.A. animal shelter (in Manchester) for a woman with a baseball bat. The woman retrieved an aluminum baseball bat from her vehicle and smashed out the front door to the S.P.C.A. Inside the woman demanded her niece. The police arrived on scene and identified the woman as 38 year old Cindy O’Ferrell of Dale City, VA. Cindy O’Ferrell screamed that the S.P.C.A. had kidnapped her niece and she was there to get her niece. Cindy O’Ferrell demanded that the police retrieve her niece named Molly from the kidnappers. Investigation revealed that Molly was a dog. Cindy O’Ferrell was arrested for Burglary, Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief.
