On 11-05-14 two individuals were arrested on suspicion of home burglaries. The individuals were suspected in numerous home burglaries and thefts occurring in the Lee County area over a month period of time. During the investigations numerous pieces of evidence were recovered that ultimately resulted in charges being filed against two suspects at this time. Other additional charges will be presented at the next Lee County Grand Jury. Arrest 1: Jerry Wayne Smithey, 34 years of age, Plantersville, MS Charges: Burglary of Dwelling x 4, Burglary of Auto x 1, Grand Larceny x 1, Possession of Burglary Tools x 1 Bond: $100,000 Arrest 2: Abigail Kimbrell, 19 years of age, Plantersville, MS Charges: Burglary of Dwelling and Possession of Stolen Property Bond: $15,000
