On 12-11-2014, RHU faculties & students volunteered along with the Salam Khalifeh from the lebanese mountain trail ( lebanontrail ) for green day . In collaboration With Mrs Sandra whitehead, doctor diab the dean of students and doctor Seren Srouji graphic design instructor leading the team. Garbage was thrown where it belongs, holes were digged & trees were planted. It took several hours but everyone was working with a bright smile on their face knowing that what their doing is an achievment for a beautiful & greener tomorrow. Wassim kayss a member of the nature protection center in the AUB spoke about planting trees and shared a tool that they created that could be used for several purposes. Later on at 12, the president Dr.Riad chedid joined and raised the morale of the volunteers and the faculty members .Gandhi said Earth provides enough to satisfy every mans needs, but not every mans greed.
