On 15 November 2014, ER24 released a statement of an incident where a man was killed when he stopped to help another motorist whose car broke down along the M1 near Marlboro offramp in Johannesburg. Moments later a white vehicle collided into him throwing him into a ditch on the side of the highway. Despite the efforts of paramedics he was sadly declared dead on scene. Another motorist traveling in the same direction noticed the vehicle hit something but was not sure what had happened (as heard on the video). The motorist later read about the incident on News24 and realised it was the same incident. He shared the video with us, hopefully to help track down the driver of the white vehicle that did not even attempt to stop after the collision.
