On 2 November, HE Minister Mohammed Al Kuwari and our Ambassador opened the Dutch Design in Doha exhibition on 3D printing. The exhibition shows 3D-printed works from 2 young Dutch designers Mark Brand and Ralph Zoontjens as well as students from VCU and Texas A&M. During the opening, the Ambassador highlighted the advances of 3Dprinting in The Netherlands. The technology offers revolutionizing possibilities for sectors like design, mechanics, medical and even the food sector. Mark Brand and Ralph Zoontjens presented their work and techniques as well as their own aspirations for the future of 3D printing. They also gave a masterclass to 20 students of VCU Qatar.
