On 3 August 2014 at approximately 00:36 hours stations 54, 56 and medic 91 were dispatched to Boot Road and Mary Jane Lane for the report of an accident with entrapment. Deputy 56 arrived on the scene reporting a one vehicle accident where the vehicle had overturned and the sole occupant was trapped in the car. Engine 56 staffed with a crew of 4 arrived on the scene and began stabilization and started extrication. Rescue 54 arrived with a crew of 6 and assisted the engine crew with stabilization and extrication. Captain 54 had rescue operations and Deputy 56 had overall scene command. Once the patient was freed from the vehicle she was turned over to Goshen EMS who were on scene with two BLS units staffed with 4 members. All crews did an outstanding job.
