On 6/25/13 the Hudson area was hit with a severe thunderstorm. Hudson Fire was initially dispatched to the report of a tree into a house with a person trapped. At the same time we received multiple reports of many trees and wires down in the roadways throughout town as well as a possible fire in a residence and a lightening strike wildland fire. Early estimates is the department responded to around 15 calls for service in a couple hour span. We could not have done this without the assistance from Glenburn, Kenduskeag and Bradford fire as well as G&H Ambulance. I would like to thank our dedicated members as well as out mutual aid partners!
