On 60 minutes, Contributing Editor, Nancy Giles, gave her weekly commentary. She began with a short historyof her own first voting experience and how her focus was on the greater elections of a President and she quoted Tipp ONeil, her personal favorite Speaker of the House, Tipp ONeil, who said, All politics is local. This was not a valid point at that time in her life. I didnt get it, she said. Since that time, though .. the Affordable Care Act has been challenged over fifty times, in spite of it being Law. She mentioned the shutting down of the government with a clip of the United States Government is now closed. She mentioned restrictive voter ID legislation as a reason for the importance of voting on Congress .. NOW, I get it, she announced. She finished with a plea that ALL voters needed to get out and vote, for the sake of the country. The vault of 400 bills, passed by the House (50 Democrat, but most bi-partisan or Republican) will be opened to initiate change or make changes to poor conditions that impact this countrys citizens. Jobs, regulation, security, roads and bridges, fuel etc. This is why I refer to Reid and Pelosi are leaders of Congress and that is why we are voting on Tuesday.
