On 7-24 I came home from work and sat down on the porch for a few minutes before I went in the house. I heard a bunch of rustling in the briars and undergrowth directly across the road from me which is property owned by the Neville family. I assumed it was a deer and waited to see what popped out of there on to the road. All of a sudden a man wearing shorts,boots and no shirt came out acting really strange and he had a yard rake in his hands.We stared at each other for a few seconds then he proceeded towards the dirt end of white cut rd. I later took a drive up that way and hes squatted on the adjoining property to me. he is sleeping in a homemade utility trailer with wood sideboards and a tarp over it. He has multiple fires built every night. I called the Sherrifs dept. , they came out and I rode up there with them. Turns out this man has been arrested for crack,crank and ice. Also breaking into vehicles, criminal domestic violence, eluding police, assault and battery, you name it. He assured the deputy that everyone could sleep well around him and he was harmless. I assured him and the deputy that if he approached me and mine that I was NOT harmless! Fourteen or so days have passed and he is still there. The sherrifs dept. says that no good will come out of this and that he is up to no good. I dont know why you would come way out here and sleep in a trailer if you have an address in Seneca. Nevertheless the land owner cant be reached to see if he has permission to be there or if he is trespassing so law enforcement says for the time being nothing can be done! I believe it is meth related. If he needed food ,clothing or work I would be there to help him but that is not his situation.
