On 7/28/2014 at approximately 1:30am, Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person call for service in the area of 1800 N 105th Ave. The caller reported a male was walking around the neighborhood attempting to open car doors. When Officers arrived on scene, the suspicious male was located hiding between two vehicles in a driveway of a residence located in the area. After checking the area directly next to where the subject was hiding, Officers observed a vehicle that had an opened rear trunk and just south of the vehicle miscellaneous papers were observed on the ground that belonged to that vehicle. Upon further investigation, a witness was located; this witness observed the above subject entering a second vehicle which was parked in the driveway of a residence located in the vicinity and was seen removing unknown items. The subject was found to be in possession of the title and registration for the second vehicle in addition to having several tools, utility knife, and a garage door opener, which were all identified by one of the victims as his. The subject was arrested and booked into 4th avenue jail on 2 counts of Burglary from Vehicle. Nice job!
