On 7/9/2014, Binghamton Police responded to two separate residential burglaries that took place an hour apart. The first reported burglary occurred at 5:00 am at a Matthews Street residence. The second burglary occurred at 6:01 am at a Jutland Road residence. Both homes were occupied at the time of the burglaries and residents from each location reported being confronted by three suspects. As of this date, three suspects have been identified as being involved in the burglaries and have been arrested. These three suspects are identified as: Arrestee: Yosef A. Baker Age: 16 Binghamton, New York Arrestee: Nyquan C. Williams Age: 17 Binghamton, New York Arrestee: Enrique T. Tramun Age: 18 Binghamton, New York All three suspects were arraigned in City Court on burglary charges and are currently in the custody of the Broome County Jail. Additional charges were filed against Baker for stealing a motor vehicle from a Robinson Street residence earlier in the month. The vehicle has since been recovered and returned to the owner. In addition to the arrests, Investigators executed search warrants and recovered some of the reported stolen property. One search warrant was executed at Baker’s Glenwood Avenue residence and on a vehicle that is registered to Baker’s mother. During the search of the vehicle, Investigators recovered stolen property taken from the Matthews Street residence. A second search warrant was executed at the business of Gone Mobile located at 215 Main Street in the Village of Johnson City. Gone Mobile is a second hand dealer of electronics devices such as computers, cellular phones, and televisions. During the search of Gone Mobile, Investigators recovered a laptop reported stolen from the Jutland Avenue residence. The investigation into Gone Mobile and their practices as a second hand dealer is continuing. Gone Mobile owner, 27 year old Tarek Algahaim, was charged with one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree and violation of Village of Johnson City ordinance – Unlicensed Pawn Broker. Algahaim was issued a field appearance ticket to appear in the Village of Johnson City Court at a later date.
