On 9th November Jodie Farnsworth is taking part in The Bloody Long Walk, a 35km walk from Victoria Park to Brighton to raise funds for MITO. Mitochondrial disease is a debilitating genetic disorder that robs the bodys cells of energy, causing multiple organ dysfunction or failure and potentially death. It affects 1 in 200 people! To raise funds for this cause there will be an online auction on 15th-17th September here: https://facebook/groups/706110746124695/. 100% of the proceeds will go to Australian Mitochondrial Disease Foundation to support its research, patient support and education/awareness programmes.
