Her rejoinder was: “I can stand at the beach’s edge with the most devout Christian, Jew or Buddhist, go down and weep with the beauty of the universe; and be moved by the billions who have lived before us, loved, hurt and suffered – we just have to be in awe of the universe, that is real divinity.
